Turbine Potsdam had a chance to get a 7 point lead in the German Frauenbundesliga today, when they played Hamburg away. It looked as if they didn't play their strongest team as they might have been resting players for the game next weekend. After a goalless first half, Aylin Yaren took the lead for the hosts, three minutes into the second half. Patricia Hanebeck got an equalizer on the 73rd minute but the league leaders weren't able to get a winning goal so the game ended with a draw. Both teams had their chances and Potsdam even missed a penalty when Jennifer Zietz hit the post.

Today's results:

Hamburger SV 1 - 1 1.FFC Turbine Potsdam
1-0 A. Yaren 48'
1-1 Hanebeck 73'
Missed penalty: J. Zietz
