- A lot of young talented players
wSoccerNews teamed up with Martin Sjögren, the former coach of LdB Malmö, to analyze the teams of the Damallsvenskan for the season. Below you can find what Martin had to say about AIK.

Strenghts: AIK has a team full of talented young players that have played together for a long time. The potential of many of these talents are high and when these young players adapt to the higher tempo in Damallsvenskan they will take a further step in their development which could have a great effect of the team.

Weaknesses: The squad doesn't look good enough. When they lost the signing of Kacey White (who got a coaching job instead)they really missed out of the type of quality players that you really need when you come from division 1. There is also a big question mark about the physical standard of the team? Have the team done their pre-season training with the intensity needed?

Key Players: Hanna Folkesson in midfield and Susanne Nilsson the new goalkeeper will be of major importance

Who will be fun to watch and why: A player like Malin Diaz with her technique and intensity is always fun to watch. It will be really interesting to see if this great talent will take the next step and keep on progressing. If she does we will see her in a bigger club in the future.

Potential starting line-up in the beginning of the season: 4-1:4-1 Susanne Nilsson - Sarah Fredriksson, Jennie Nordin, Maija Saari, Elin Borg - Hanna Folkesson : Therese Boström, Malin Diaz, Naza Vaseghpanah, Clara Marksetedt - Susan Varli
