According to frauenfussball-info.de Vidarsdottir has ended her contract with Potsdam. She had one year left of her contract, but both parties agreed on ending the contract.

Vidarsdóttir has been dealing with an injury in her hamstring over the last few years and that injury does not seem to be going away. Bernd Schröder says that she cannot handle the physical stress of high-performance training due to her injury and therefore they could not get out of her what they wanted.

Vidarsdóttir came to Turbine Potsdam at the beginning of this year after playing for Kristianstad DFF last year. She was the leading goal scorer in Damallsvenskan last year and rumors are that she might return back to her old club where she was very successful.
