Shek Borkowski the Head Coach of Zvezda 2005 in Russia is answers few questions regarding the best women´s team in the world, the best player and the best league in the world. Shek has won 2 league titles and 2 cup titles in America with FC Indiana. His teams defeated World Cup participants Australia and New Zealand, beat WPS Chicago Red Stars and narrowly lost by a late own goal to the WPS inaugural champions Sky Blue FC.

1. What is the strongest women´s soccer league in the world today?

That is a difficult question. After all which league is better, the Premier League, Serie A or La Liga? Beauty is in the eye of beholder.

For me it is between Frauen Bundesliga and WPS.

WPS is more athletic, Bundesliga stronger tactically.

Bundesliga has an edge in tradition and stability but there is more parity in WPS.

Right now despite the fact that WPS is based on athleticism and exciting disorganization, there still is plenty of individual talent... and I give WPS the edge.

2. What do you think is the best team today ?

Gold Pride (WPS) has the best collection of quality players, and while Injuries and form impact this, on current form Gold Pride are arguably the team.

3. Who do you think is the best women´s player in the world today ?

Marta in terms of excitement, Jo Yun-mi in terms of overall utility.

4. How would you line up your women´s dream team ?

                                   Hope Solo

Clare Polkinghorne - Annike Krahn - Babett Peter

                          Therese Sjogran

Kerstin Garefrekas -                 Jo Yun-mi - Lori Chalupny

                                                Marta

                              Inka Grings - Abby Wambach

5. What do you think of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Germany ?

The UEFA and the DFB are great supporters of women's football. Germany is one of my favorite destinations and when it comes to women's football, Dr. Theio Zwanziger and Germany do better job of organizing, promoting, supporting and marketing than any other country in the world. I am sure that it will be a success in terms of attendance, media coverage and in quality play. The changes taking place in women's football in the last 5 years are staggering and are reflected at every age level.

6. Who do you think will become the FIFA U-20 World Cup Champions ?

SB: It will come down to Korea DPR, USA, Germany and England and I pick Germany to win it at home.
